PUPPIES
|
Our current litter, born March 14, 2009, out of "Romeo"
of Outback & Outback's "Vegas Baby" of Foster. These
are hard-bodied, short backed pups, that seem to have taken after
Romeo quite a bit more than Vegas. We expect them to be very athletic,
smart and easy to train. There are 4 generations of hip-certified
dogs on the dam's side, and 3 generations on the sire's side. All
pups are NCL clear and come with a contract and health guarentees.
Prices will be from $900 to $1,200 . |

| Some of you may have noticed that there are now only 4 puppies pictured from this litter. Sadly, we've had to euthanise the other 4 pups due to a rare, incurable, genetic skin condition known as Ichthyosis. This also means that both Gr. Ch. 2 Spots None the Richer and Julietta, though they show no symptoms, must be carriers of this gene. We have contacted the University of Pennsylvania in the U. S. (who are trying to find a way to identify the responsible gene) and have agreed to send DNA samples of all our dogs in hopes that it will help them towards this end. We will be adding information about Ichthyosis to our website shortly, and keeping you updated on progress made towards developing the DNA test to identify genetic carriers of this disease. We are always willing to share any and all information that may contribute to the betterment of our breed, no matter how disheartening it may be. Our 4 remaining pups are NOT AFFLICTED with this disorder and are fat, healthy, and making us smile. |
